  • ISPSC strengthens regional student affairs engagement at PAPSAS conference

    The Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) joined student affairs practitioners from across the region in the First Regional Conference and General Assembly of the Philippine Association of Practitioners of Student Affairs and Services (PAPSAS) Region I, where the College’s Director for Student Affairs and Guidance Services, Mr. Dennis T. Millare, was elected regional auditor on September 18, 2026, at the Star Plaza Hotel in Dagupan City, Pangasinan. 

    Carrying the theme “Weaving Holistic and Transformative Student Affairs and Services in Region 1,” the conference gathered student affairs practitioners from across the region to share experiences, exchange best practices, and foster professional collaboration in delivering student affairs and services.

    The College was represented by Millare, together with Mr. Michael Gem P. Marquez, Chief of Student Discipline and OSAS Coordinator of the Main Campus; Mr. Dan Uriel P. Purugganan, Chief of Student Government Leadership Training and Student Organization Development and Adviser of the Federated Supreme Student Council; and the campus OSAS coordinators: Mr. J.V. Augustine Realizo of Tagudin Campus, Dr. Perlita F. Tomas of Candon Campus, Ms. Jasmine Olpindo of Sta. Maria Campus, and Ms. Lili Joy Torres of Cervantes Campus.

    Their participation provided an opportunity to engage with fellow practitioners and contribute to professional discussions on student welfare, development, and the delivery of responsive student affairs and services.

    Millare’s election as PAPSAS Region I Auditor marks a milestone in his professional engagement and leadership in the student affairs and services sector. The College congratulates him on this appointment and recognizes his continuing contribution to initiatives that support students’ holistic growth and well-being.

    Through its participation in regional professional gatherings, ISPSC continues to engage in collaborative efforts that advance student-centered programs and services across its campuses, contributing to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education and SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being through initiatives that support students’ holistic development, welfare, and well-being.
