Pursuant to RA 8292, The Board of Trustees of Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College, formally and publicly announces that the Position for two (2) members of the Board of Trustees representing the PRIVATE SECTOR is now open. The applicant/nominee must meet the following minimum qualifications:

A.  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. Must be a resident in the place or in the province where the school is located;
2. Must be a prominent citizen who has distinguished himself/herself in his/her profession or field of specialization;
3. Must not in any way be presently employed or appointed to any position in any government agency or entity(national, local, or government-owned or controlled  corporation), be it on a full-time or part time basis;
4. Must have an extensive record of employment,business,expertise and connection with the private sector. If the nominee previously worked in any capacity with a government entity or was a consultant in any government undertaking or whatever nature,the proportion of the time the nominee served in government should not exceed one-fourth of the entire time served in the private sector;
5. Must explicitly manifest availability of time and commitment to the service of ISPSC; and
6. Must possess linkages(local,national,as well a international)which may be harnessed for the realization of the vision,mission and goals and objectives of the College.

Nominees will be evaluated according to the following:

B. DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS:

1. Five(5) photocopies of the pertinent documents;
2. Formal application letter addressed to the Chair:

   UNP President Emeritus
   Chair, SCPSR
3. Detailed Curriculum Vitae(CV) signed under oath;
4. Certified true copy of documents in support of the data stated in the CV.
5. Plans and Goals (in brief narrative)

C.  SUBMISSION PROCESS

All pertinent documents must be submitted to the Office of the ISPSC Board Secretary,Secretariat of the Search Committee,located at President’s Office Building, Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College, Brgy.Poblacion Norte,Sta. Maria Ilocos Sur not later than December 12, 2019 at 5:00 P.M.
