  • ISPSC researcher wins Best Presenter award at IMCETEMDS 2025

    Dr. Joel C. Ferrer of Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) Sta. Maria Campus emerged as Best Presenter during the 5th International Multidisciplinary Conference on Engineering and Technology, Education, Management, and Development Studies (IMCETEMDS) held on December 4-6, 2025, at Legazpi City, Albay.

    Dr. Ferrer presented his study titled “Academic Performance and Predictors of Licensure Examination for Teachers of Bachelor of Elementary Education,” which gained the highest commendation in Track 2 - Educational Leadership and Management, for its relevance and clear contribution to understanding teacher licensure outcomes.

    This year’s IMCETEMDS, guided by the theme “Advancing Strategic Innovation and Inclusive Research for a Resilient and Sustainable Future,” brought together researchers, educators, and professionals for a three-day exchange of research and insights. ISPSC served as one of the partner institutions of the conference.

    The event covered 14 research areas, including sustainable agriculture, educational leadership, instructional development, emerging technologies, agricultural innovations, food systems, climate and community development, pedagogical practices, educational policy, digital and AI-driven learning, business management, social sciences, gender and community well-being.
