Santa Maria represented by ISPSC dancers bagged the Championship crown in the Kannawidan Street Dancing Showdown held last February 7, 2018 at Tamag Grounds, Vigan City, Ilocos Sur. They also won the Best in Cultural Presentation and Best in Props.

One Up of ISPSC Sta. Maria placed 3rd in the Dance Craze Season 4 2018 during the Kannawidan Festival celebration. The competition was held on February 1, 2018 at Tamag Grounds, Vigan City, Ilocos Sur.

Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur – DZNF 97.3 Radyo Kailian, in February 2018, recruited a new licensed radio operator in the name of Mr. Zarbhie M. Curimao, to enhance the radio’s operation standards. This is after the former technician has left the station due to performance reasons. Mr. Curimao, a native of Burgos, Ilocos Norte, is a graduate of TESDA-based Electronics Communication Technology at Ilocos Norte College of Arts and Trade.
