  • ISPSC conducts 2025 Multi-Campus In-House review

    Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) held its 2025 Campus-Based In-House Review on December 9-11, 2025, gathering faculty researchers from its seven campuses for a three-day institutional activity aimed at strengthening the College’s research productivity and evaluation processes.

    In her message, Dr. Jocelyn L. Absolor, Vice President for Research, Development, and Extension, underscored ISPSC’s commitment to research excellence, technological advancement, and community-responsive initiatives. She also encouraged researchers to pursue studies that address development needs and contribute to evidence-based policymaking.

    Meanwhile, Dr. Milagros O. Liberato, Director for Research, emphasized the importance of maintaining a rigorous, transparent, and standards-based evaluation process to ensure that institutional research outputs contribute meaningfully to the College’s mandate.

    The review commenced at the Sta. Maria Campus, representing the Narvacan, Sta. Maria, and Santiago Cluster. Faculty researchers presented proposals, ongoing studies, and completed research papers aligned with institutional and regional research priorities. Presentations continued the following day at the Main Campus, covering the Candon and Main Cluster.

    The final leg of the activity was held at the Tagudin Campus, representing the Tagudin and Cervantes Cluster. Researchers engaged in comprehensive evaluations and panel discussions that highlighted ISPSC’s research initiatives.

    The 2025 Campus-Based In-House Review reaffirmed ISPSC’s continuing efforts to cultivate a robust research environment and generate scholarly work that supports local and regional development. (Vlladimira Rosita Agatep, Contributor)
