  • ISPSC launches Book Fair 2026

The Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) officially launched the ISPSC Book Fair 2026 on April 21, at the Innovation Center, ISPSC Sta. Maria Campus. Centered on the theme “Enhancing Academic Resources for Institutional Growth and Universityhood”, the event runs from April 21 to 23, 2026.

This event was facilitated by the Office for Library Services as a key initiative supporting the college's transition toward universityhood, serving as a significant step toward the rigorous standards required for the college’s conversion, and providing quality research resources and diverse literary materials for students and faculty.

In his message, ISPSC President Mario P. Obrero expressed his sincere gratitude for the active participation of the exhibitors and the committed dedication of the facilitators, led by Mr. Eduard P. Buasen, Director for Library Services. “We are serious about improving our laboratories and library facilities,” he noted. “ISPSC is becoming a large institution; to sustain that growth, we need a significant increase in books for every program.”

The ISPSC Bookfair 2026 aims to provide book resources for comprehensive learning materials, bridging the gap between the continuous increase in the number of enrollees and the need for the latest academic literature and research materials necessary for its transition as a university. (EMQT)
