  • ISPSC receives PRC recognition for Top 10 criminologists licensure performance

    The Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) Main Campus was honored by the Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology as one of the top-performing schools in the February 2026 Licensure Examination for Criminologists today, May 1, in Pasay City.

    Based on the official results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), ISPSC Main ranked 10th in Category A, which includes higher education institutions with 200 or more examinees and at least an 80% passing rate. ISPSC Main posted an 80.54% passing rate, with 207 passers out of 257 examinees.

    The awarding ceremony took place during the oath-taking ceremony for new criminologists, where top-performing schools and examinees were recognized.

    Representing the institution during the recognition ceremony were ISPSC President Mario P. Obrero, Dr. Sheryl Morata, Campus Director of ISPSC Main, and Dr. John Paul Alasaas, Dean of the School of Criminal Justice Education.

    The distinction places ISPSC Main among the country’s higher education institutions recognized for strong performance in the licensure examination. (JGP)
