  • ISPSC welcomes PBA Season 50 All-Star players in meet and greet

    Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) hosted a meet and greet with Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Season 50 All-Star players on March 5, 2026, at the ISPSC Main Campus Gymnasium.

    The activity brought together professional basketball players from the North and South All-Star teams, along with participants in the Skills Challenge, allowing students, faculty members, and basketball enthusiasts to meet and interact with some of the country’s top athletes.

    Among the players present were Japeth Aguilar, CJ Cansino, Stephen Holt, Leonard Santillan, and other PBA standouts representing the North and South squads.

    The gathering was also attended by ISPSC President Mario P. Obrero, Candon City Mayor Eric D. Singson, PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial, along with other college officials and guests.

    During the program, PBA also donated Php 200,000 to ISPSC in support of the college’s development initiatives.

    Recognized as the country’s premier professional basketball league, PBA continues to bring its All-Star festivities closer to communities across the Philippines, allowing fans to connect with their favorite players and celebrate the sport that unites Filipinos.

    Held as part of the month-long fiesta celebration of the City Government of Candon, the activity served as one of the highlights of the city’s festivities. (JGP)
