    NEWS ISPSC Laboratory High School - Tagudin earns spot in 2025 Swiss Innovation Prize Competition

    Three students from ISPSC Laboratory High School - Tagudin Campus take the international spotlight as they secure spots in the prestigious Swiss Innovation Prize Competition 2025. Organized by the Embassy of Switzerland in the Philippines, this event recognizes exceptional talent in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

    Graduating senior students Athena Chelzee Donne B. Hernando (Project Leader), Daisy Mae P. Bautista, and Maria Claire B. Gajete, under the mentorship of Dr. Maria Denise Lou C. Aguilan, will represent the Philippines with their project titled “Design and Fabrication of an Efficient Solar-Powered Salt Production Apparatus.” This eco-innovative research offers a sustainable and cost-effective alternative to traditional salt production by utilizing solar energy- a promising entry in the Sustainability category of the competition.

    ISPSC President Mario P. Obrero expressed his admiration for the team. “This milestone is a true reflection of the brilliance, dedication, and global potential of our students. We are immensely proud of their achievements and will continue to support them as they bring honor to our institution and our country on the international stage.”

    This selection also reflects the strong support and guidance of ISPSC educational leaders, including former principal Dr. Femarie M. Capistrano and current principal Gemalyn L. Tenoc, who have been instrumental in cultivating a culture of research and innovation. (INABM)
