NEWS ISPSC achievers receive recognition at SIGLAT Iskwela Awards 2025 

The Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) took center stage at the 2025 SIGLAT Iskwela Awards, held on July 31 at the Chavit Coliseum in Vigan City, as outstanding students, faculty, and staff were recognized for their achievements in various fields during the Ilocos Sur SIGLAT Festival.

The event, held annually by the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur  through the Provincial Education and Scholarship Affairs Office, recognizes outstanding academic achievers, campus journalists, athletes, researchers, and dedicated faculty and staff from across the province who have brought pride to Ilocos Sur through their excellence in international, national, and regional competitions.

This year, ISPSC received a total of 187 awards, with 16 at the international level, 10 at the national level, and 161 at the regional level, reflecting the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and holistic development. Each awardee was conferred with the SIGLAT Iskwela Medal and cash incentives.

The SIGLAT Iskwela Awards Program has become one of the cornerstone events of the Ilocos Sur SIGLAT Festival, aiming to uplift and promote academic excellence in the province. (INABM)
