South Cluster Campus holds Orientation Program

                Dr. Helen C. Abella, the Executive Dean of the South Cluster opened the Orientation Program, after which a message was given by the Dr. Corazon A. Gines, Vice President for Administration and Resource Generation where she stressed on the presence of Enthusiasm in doing one’s work in order to have a fruitful output.

                Mrs. Cresencia C. Viloria, Director for Administrative Services and Supervising Administrative Officer of the college presented the newly designated college key officials, where they were challenged by the Dr. Rafael B. Querubin, SUC President II, in his message that they should perform their duties and responsibilities with outmost commitment and dedication for a better ISPSC. 

                The new organizational structure of the college was presented by Mr. Danilo Abella, Human Management Resource Officer, and the line and staff function was presented by Mrs. Gemma B. Somera, Director for Training.

                Parlor games were done to entertain the participants and to establish a closer relationship among all the employees of the South Cluster.

Loyalty awardees 2010

Twenty employees received the Loyalty Award during the 12th Charter Day Celebrationof the college.

The awardees was headed by Dr. Florida T. Adolfo, who has rendered 35 years of dedicated and

fruitful service to ISPSC.

IT dept head attends int'l conference

  Engr. Evangeline C. Reyes, Head of the BS in Information Technology Department of the Santa Maria Campus, is attending the Workshop and Awareness Conference on Evolution of Wireless Technologies at Trieste, Italy. The international event is hosted by the International Center for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) and sponsored by the International Telecommunications Union and the Network Startup Resource Center.

   In the said Conference, both workshop participants, Telecom Administrations, Regulators and Operators, and international experts will report and discuss the most advanced communication solutions for environmental monitoring. In particular, the following topics will be covered (i) most advanced and cost-effective wireless ICT solutions (ii) training schemes, economic studies and regulatory framework needed to foster the use of wireless solutions and (iii) case studies presentations and results of the technical discussions.

  The conference runs from February 22, 2010 to March 12, 2010.

PANUNUMPA NG KAWANI NG GOBYERNO

Ako’y kawani ng gobyerno

Tungkulin ko ang maglingkod nang tapat at mahusay

Dahil dito-

Ako’y papasok nang maaga at agtatrabaho

  nang lampas sa takdang oras kung kinakailanga;

Magsisilbi ako nang magalang at mabilis sa lahat ng nangangailangan;

Pangangalagaan ko ang mga gamit, kasangkapan at iba pang pag-aari ng pamahalaan

Magiging pantay at makatarungan ang pakikitungo sa mga lumalapit sa aming tangapan;

Magsasalita ako laban sa katiwalian at pagsasamantala;

Hindi ko gagamitin ang aking panunungkulan sa sarili kong kapakanan;

Hindi ako hihingi o tatanggap ng suhol;

Sisikapin kong madagdagan ang aking talino at kakayahan

  upang ang antas ng paglilingkod sa bayan ay patuloy na maitaas.

Sapagkat ako’y iang kawani ng gobyerno at tungkulin ko

  ang maglingkod nang tapat at mahusay sa bayan ko at sa panahong ito;

Ako at ang aking mga kapwa kawani ay kinakailangan

  tungo sa isang maunlad, masagana at mapayapang Pilipinas.
